Tinted moisturizers and BB creams are ideal for Arizona’s hot summer days and nights. They are lightweight and easy to apply. Even better, they contain sunscreen to protect your skin. I love that many of them provide amazing coverage but look very natural on the face.
These are the ones I highlighted on AZ Midday:
Dr. Jart BB Cream. This was the first BB cream to be sold at Sephora. It’s amazingly lightweight, has a high SPF, contains amino-peptides for anti-aging, and will help your skin look smoother.
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer. Arguably the most popular tinted moisturizer on the market. It feels lightweight, has great coverage, and comes in so many shades you will definitely find your perfect match.
Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer. The oil free version of Laura’s tinted moisturizer is nice if you are on the oily side or looking for more coverage. I personally prefer this version.
Stila Illuminating BB Cream. This is a must-have product for me. It’s smoothing and brightening abilities are incredible and I like to use it under people’s eyes. However, you can apply it all over your face for a nice pick me up.
L’Oreal Glotion. If you don’t want to spend a fortune, this product is awesome. I love the healthy look it offers. It makes your skin look super healthy and hydrated, but not too shiny. I also recommend trying one of the darker shades and skipping sunless tanner.
Rodial Skin Tint. This product provides the best coverage I’ve ever seen in a tint. It is super lightweight and amazing at covering hyperpigmentation. I love that it also has anti-aging benefits.

Yes, in this case I agree completely–Stila’s illuminating BB cream is one of my greatest discoveries ever. I love it year-round, but it’s particularly wonderful in the summer. I appreciate that you don’t recommend solely Stila products, however. Not that you have to prove yourself (your portfolio shows your credentials for all of us to see!), but it’s so difficult to trust recommendations from people who appear biased toward certain brands, especially because interviews prove that even brand MUAs use products from other companies all the time!
