I think every women would agree that there is something really satisfying about finding a good mascara. It just makes you happy, and it makes doing your makeup so much easier. Although I like a lot of mascaras, I do not have one favorite. Instead, I use and recommend mascaras based on need. I also suggest that you find a mascara that stays put and has a brush that you like.
If your mascara clumps or flakes, sometimes it means you need a new tube. Other times, it’s an indication that the formula is not right for you. If it’s not working for you, it might be time to change to one of these popular alternatives.
– L’Oreal Voluminous Primer. If you love your mascara but need more volume, then a coat of this primer underneath might be what you need!
– Lancome Definicils. One of the best selling mascaras worldwide, this mascara is reliable, black and easy to coat. You’ll love it if you like traditional fiber wands that are more simple.
– L’Oreal Voluminous Feline. This is a great option for people who prefer plastic wands and lots of volume.
– Bare Minerals Lash Domination. Claims to be lengthening, thickening, volumizing, separating, and ultra smudge resistant. It also has a unique plastic spiral wand to help you coat every angle of your lashes.
– Lancome Grandiose. The angle of the wand on this mascara helps you get closer to the roots of your lashes so you can coat them better. I’ve worked with several makeup artists who bend their end of their wands so they look similar to this. Thanks to this mascara, you do not have to do this anymore. The applicator is already bent!
– Stila HUGE. My favorite wand for lots of volume and quick coating is one the stila huge mascara. It creates a LOT of lashes quickly and is super easy to apply.
– L’Oreal Double Extend Tubing Mascara. I wear this daily for smudge resistant mascara. If you struggle with mascara staying in place, this mascara is for you. This mascara has a unique technology that creates tubes around your lashes. These tubes stay in place and do not flake or smudge. They also help extend the length of your lashes. You can remove the tubes with warm water.
– Lancome Hynose. Another great fiber brush. I like that this mascara doesn’t add too much volume. I can use it with individual lashes for fluffy, full lashes that look soft and pretty. If I go without the lashes, the lashes look nice and full, but not clumpy. Because I often use it with lashes, I like to have a waterproof version on hand.
– L’Oreal Voluminous Superstar Red Carpet. Last, but definitely not least – this mascara is one of the coolest new releases. It has light reflecting pigments so your lashes shine. It also comes with a built in primer and the ultra popular curved wand.
