Dry lips are the bane of our existence. The beauty industry spends time and dollars trying to solve countless problems like acne, dark circles, frizzy hair, short eye lashes and on and on. But dry lips? I’m not seeing it. Hydration seems to have disappeared somewhere after high school. Hot temperatures (like here in Arizona) and cold climates? The worst. The urge to lick them only further dries them out. Have you ever met anyone with perfectly hydrated lips? Yeah, for about a minute. What’s a girl to do??
Use Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream on your lips! It lifts the dry patches off in seconds. When working at NY Fashion Week I always packed a few tubes. Believe me: It’s the only way to accomplish a bold lip look on a model for the runway.
Before applying this model’s makeup, I used Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream on her lips. When done with her makeup, her lips looked hydrated, happy, and healthy, ready for the finishing touch.
TIP: Use Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream on your eyelashes when they need new life. Leave it on for about 15 minutes then wash off. The next day, your mascara will look amazing. Try it!
If you would rather use natural ingredients here is a DIY for a coconut lime lip scrub I came across online. I already had all of the ingredients in my cupboards and that’s a miracle. I know how to paint, not cook. It’s a mixture of coconut, sugar, honey, and lime. Sounds like a dirty diet coke lover’s dream.
Use a soft toothbrush once you have applied the scrub to your lips. Don’t brush too hard. You want to remove the dry dead skin not your lips!
