Add Some SPARKLE to Your Makeup This Holiday!

I’ve been using my new favorite shimmer palette on just about everyone lately! It photographs amazing and it gives you a nice glow, which is ideal for the holiday season. I used it on Micaela, when I did her makeup recently and she looked radiant.

You can add the same glow to your makeup by using a strobbing technique. Use the palette to highlight your cheekbones, browbones, the inner well of your eyes, the bridge of your nose, and above your cupid’s bow. This is where you want the light to hit your face, and the shimmer will help attract attention to these areas.

Other prime places to add sparkle, shine, and shimmer to your makeup for the holidays are your eyelids, your eyeliner, and your lips. I like to top the eyeshadow with something really shimmery and glittery. This makes them really pop. You don’t need to be young to try this technique. Instead, avoid large chunks of glitter and keep the sparkle on your lids.

You can also try the same technique with your eyeliner. Instead of sticking to the same liquid cat eye, switch to a glitter eyeliner or sparkly eyeliner.

Finally, apply a sparkly lip gloss. You will look festive and fabulous at all of your holiday events or everyday!
