I love, love, love seeing so many women taking time for themselves and their beauty routine in 2018. It’s a great way to boost your self-esteem and ensure that you look and feel your best. A beauty related goal can seem challenging if your other goals involve saving money or adopting a less is more mentality. Luckily, Neutrogena has a lot of great products that won’t break the bank and will still help you feel amazing.
When You Need a Pick Me Up
During the winter, it’s common for the skin to get dry and dull. this is why I love the Neutrogena ® Hydro Boost line. The Neutrogena ® Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint will give your skin added glow. You can pair it with the Neutrogena ® Hydro Boost Concealer and then use Neutrogena ® Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine for a quick and easy makeup look that will make you feel fabulous and refreshed. The lip shine is a particularly great option for women with drier lips. It isn’t sticky and does help your lips feel less dry.
If You Have Problem Skin
It’s hard to feel good about yourself and put your best face forward when you have problematic skin, particularly acne. I speak from experience knowing that when my skin is not at it’s best I am easily embarrassed and constantly feeling the need to touch up my makeup. I doubt this helps the problem. In fact, I’m sure it makes it worse. However, if I’m usually Neutrogena’s SkinClearing Makeup Line, at least I know I’m putting something on my face that will fight the issue. Here are some of the products to check out:
- Neutrogena ® SkinClearing Liquid Makeup
- Neutrogena® SkinClearing Blemish Concealer
- Neutrogena® SkinClearing Mineral Powder
I really like the idea of blemish concealers because they are multi-taskers – something you need when you are breaking out. You can cover the problem and reduce it at the same time. The mineral powder is also a nice lightweight texture, which is ideal for anyone who is acne-prone.
How to Use
Using these products are easy:
1 – Determine whether you need the Hydroboost or SkinClearing Products. I prefer Hydroboost for people who are dry. However, many people who are acne-prone are also dry. If this is the case, moisturize first and then use the SkinClearing Products. You can also mix and match the products depending on needs. Maybe you want the Hydroboost tint because it offers more moisture and the SkinClearing concealer for the areas where you breakout. I love customizing complexion regimens in this manner, and think it allows people to get the best results for their needs.
2 – Apply the foundation with clean hands. Fingers will blend the product into the skin nicely. They are also less likely to carry germs than a sponge.
3 – Conceal where needed. The foundation will cover most of the redness and problem areas. Apply the concealer after foundation anywhere you want additional coverage.
4 – Set with powder. If you are dry, you can skip this step.
5 – Finish with your favorite shade of the Neutrogena ® Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine.
Where to Buy
You can find all of these products at Walmart! I bought them when I was shopping with my kids for groceries. Maybe I’ll even include it as part of the grocery budget! Does anyone else do this???
